Core Curriculum in Interdisciplinary Perceptual Science
Description:
The Core Curriculum in Perceptual Science offers interdisciplinary courses and research activities in perceptual science for IGERT students and for interested students enrolled in one of the participating Ph.D. programs. Completion of the Core Curriculum formally recognizes interdisciplinary graduate work in perceptual science that goes beyond the requirements for the doctorate in one of the existing programs. The Core Curriculum is organized around new foundational courses in human perception, computational thinking and computational modeling, and features an interdisciplinary lab course (Integrative Methods in Perceptual Science) in which students work on new research projects in cooperative teams. see: http://perceptualscience.rutgers.edu
