An electron micrograph, “Squid suckers: The Little Monsters That Feed the Beast,” created by Ph.D. student Jessica Schiffman, received an Honorable Mention in the Photography category of the sixth annual International Science & Engineering Visualization Challenge, sponsored by the NSF and the journal Science.
