Nanomedicine Discussions and Seminars
Achievement/Results
A weekly Nanomedicine discussion meeting is organized by the Intergrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship (IGERT) Nanomedicine Science and Technology Program at Northeastern University. Research experts in the field of Nanomedicine from local area hospitals and research establishments are invited to give seminars as part of the IGERT Nanomedicine Distinguished Lecture Series. Faculty members, IGERT trainees and associates get a unique opportunity to learn the latest in this cutting-edge research field. In addition, Nanomedicine discussions are also organized as a forum for all IGERT trainees to share and exchange research related topics.
Address Goals
Through these Nanomedicine seminar series, students are abreast with the latest findings in their research field and this in turn helps them in their own research efforts. Through these seminar series, IGERT trainees develop networking skills as part of their professional development. The Nanomedicine discussions provide an opportunity in an informal setting to establish research collaboration among various trainees.
