IGERT Trainees Actively Participate in and Plan Major Conferences

Trainees and faculty participants of the National Science Foundation’s Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship (IGERT) program in Indoor Environmental Science and Engineering at The University of Texas (UT) are playing the central role in organizing Indoor Air 2011, the largest international conference on indoor air quality. Attendance at Indoor Air 2011 is expected to approach 1,500 (300 to 400 graduate students) from over 50 countries. IGERT program director Richard Corsi has been named President of Indoor Air 2011. In this image, he and IGERT external Executive Committee member Professor Glenn Morrison (Missouri University of Science and Technology) dress in western attire to promote Indoor Air 2011 at the closing ceremony of the conference Healthy Buildings 2009.
