Mathematical Models for Group Decision-Making
Group Decision-Making System Architecture
The architecture of the group decision-making system considered in this work. The Source, which represents the correct hypothesis, provides independent and identically-distributed (iid) observations to the individual Decision-Makers (DMs). As a note, the observations are iid both within and across DMs. The DMs then use the observations to reach their individual decisions, which they pass on to the fusion center as a binary number. The fusion center then applies its group rule on the incoming decisions, and outputs the group’s decision once that rule is satisfied.
