mage 1: Visualization of the paths of the robots. As the behavior of the individual robots becomes more directed towards a goal, the pattern of behavior in the group becomes more coordinated. The gray circle represents the target, and the color of the lines represents the preferred turning direction of the individual robots. Brighter colors indicate a strong preference. When all paths are similarly colored and bright, robots are exhibiting more coordinated behavior.
