Class projects turn into research projects
Several student projects that were launched during the required data curation course are materializing into research projects. One IGERT fellow from the School of Information (SI) and a second SI doctoral student will carry out a study of user's assessment of data provenance needs in the Tranche system. This work crosses information science, computer science, and bioinformatics.
