Achievement

We have achieved an improvement in the research infrastructure for the IGERT through procurement and implementation of an EDS detector on the RU scanning transmission electron microscope and a new variable temperature Raman stage and laser. These new facilities will enable novel research experiments by the IGERT Fellows and Faculty as well as being utilized for IGERT related teaching activities. A new website with ever increasing amount of IGERT related research information has also been launched.
