Achievement

Through participation in the IGERT program, our trainees have had much exposure of their research in professional journals, at meetings and at industrial sessions and conferences. The achievements for our IGERT group are quite impressive. During this reporting period, there were 13 published articles by trainees. At the November 2009 National AIChE meeting, 8 trainees participated, which led to a total of 10 posters and talks. Trainees also participated in ISPE, AAPS, ASME, ACS etc. and presented more than 27 talks/ posters and won numerous awards. Trainees were able to present posters in international settings, such as Germany, India and Japan, and in addition, they were recipients of university and industry awards.
