Strong placements reflecting multidisciplinary training
This year's IGERT graduates all pursued academic positions, with outcomes that highlight distinctive trajectories across traditional disciplinary boundaries. These include faculty placements at Carnegie Mellon (David Deming, Asst. Prof. of Economics/Public Policy), Cornell University (Laura Tach, Asst. Prof. Policy Analysis and Management), Sarah Lawrence College (Samuel Abrams, Political Science), and UC Berkeley School of Law (Katerina Linos, '07. Formerly Harvard Society of Fellows). Postdoctoral fellowships include Columbia University (Benjamin Goodrich, Center for Applied Statistics), Duke University (Sabrina Pendergrass, Provost's Postdoctoral Program), Robert Wood Johnson Health and Society Scholar (Laura Tach, before joining Cornell faculty in 2012), and Robert Wood Johnson Scholar in Health Policy Research (Ryan Moore, '08. Currently Asst. Prof. of Political Science, Washington University in St. Louis).
