Trainee receives Wenner Gren Foundation grant
In Dec. 2009 IPEM Trainee Adam Boyette received a Wenner Gren Foundation grant of about $12,000 to continue his research on the cultural transmission of sharing among Aka foragers (Central African Republic). He also received second place in a graduate student paper competition from the Society for Anthropological Sciences in 2009 (announced at AAA meetings in December, 2009). Both of these awards leverage his IGERT training, and add value to it.
