Collaborative projects leads to novel design
A collaborative project between two IGERT students, Arthur Mahoney and Cody Sarrazin lead to an elegant novel design of three orthogonal Helmholtz-coil pairs. This piece of electromagnet equipment will be used to conduct experiments in a number of projects that involve medical microrobots. The first of these experiments is in preparation for conference submission to the International Symposium on Experimental Robotics, with the two IGERT students as first and second authors with Jake Abbott.
