Achievement

A new specialized laboratory course on the subject of the IGERT - Computational Optical Sensing and Imaging - was planned, developed from scratch, built, and taught for the first time with an attendance of 12 students from different departments. Thanks to this hands-on experience, the trainees were exposed to many of the fundamental concepts, experiments, and algorithms used in the field. A unique aspect is that this course was co-taught by six of the IGERT-COSI faculty in three different departments (ECE, MCDB, Physics).
