Achievement

We continue our partnership with our NSF REU Site (2008-2010). In the second summer, our IGERT fellows actively engaged in mentoring a diverse group of undergraduate REU students. At the end of the summer project period, the students gathered with their mentors and advisors and each made a presentation of their REU research work to the group. The presentations are available on http://www.si.umich.edu/reu/projects.htm. The presentations include topics as diverse as Trading Agent Competition, Opinion Diversity in Online Political News Aggregation, Social Preference, and Microfinance Lender Behavior.
