Trainee works with leader in GPR
IGERT Fellow Christopher Wright is a civil engineering PhD student working with an industry leader in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) services. The President of Infrasense, Inc. approached the IGERT program to help solve a real-world data analysis problem. Christopher has expanded his physics background and civil engineering major with electromagnetics and computational modeling to work towards addressing ambiguities found in field collected data. The achievement here is that the IGERT Fellow provided catalytic support that has led to deeper collaborations across infrastructure related research at Northeastern and an industrial collaborator.
