Trainee receives NSF-GRFP
Chris Schalk just received a NSF-GRFP which will further support his research on the scaling of ecological functions in the Chaco landscape in Bolivia. He is working closely with a fellow student, Rosa Leny Cuellar, native Bolivian. They both work closely with Isoso indigenous parabiologists and professional biologists with the Wildlife Conservation Society and the Noel Kempff Natural History Museum. Chris published several notes and manuscripts from his current and previous work. Chris also took a leadership role on the graduate student committee for the 11th Ecological Integration Symposium.
