Trainee and advisor receive supplemental grant
IGERT student Terry Frueh (Geosciences) and his advisor Stephen Lancaster received a supplemental NSF dissertation improvement grant to cover costs of radiocarbon dating of samples for Terry's dissertation research. These dates will be used to constrain a mathematical model of the residence time of charcoal in forest streams of the Oregon Coast Range, which he is developing in collaboration with his IGERT minor advisor, Enrique Thomann (Mathematics).
