Achievement

Ms. Sharma was engineering mentors for the Carmalt Academy of Science and Technology in the Future City competition. The Future City competition is targeted as junior high schools and aims to provide a stimulating engineering challenge with a hands-on application to present their vision of a city of the future. For the Pittsburgh Regional Future City competition, Ms. Sharma’s mentoring helped the students win awards for Best Indoor Environment and Best Integrated City. Ms. Sharma also participated in international collaboration to submit a proposal to the Mondialogo Engineering competition. She was an International Team Member for IIT Kanpur - University of Pittsburgh Joint proposal on Bamboo: A Low-cost Sustainable Structural Material.
