Bonding mechanisms in chalcogen species
One CIGS project, trainee Brion Bob under Prof. Yang Yang's supervision, has determined a number of interesting bonding mechanisms present in chalcogen species dissolved in a hydrazine solution through Raman Spectroscopy. The results have implications for developing high quality photovoltaic devices and for gaining a better understanding of the solvatochemistry that provides the underlying scientific basis for this fabrication method.
