Trainee submits proposal for additional funding
IGERT trainee Chris Huth, working with IGERT advisor Donglu Shi (Materials Science), wrote and submitted his own proposal for additional funding to the Air Force Research Laboratory/Dayton Area Graduate Student Institute. The proposal topic was DNA-directed Self Assembly of Nanomaterials for Electronics. Although the proposal was not accepted, it received positive feedback from the judges and provided excellent experience for the trainee.
