Trainees take 2nd place at Graduate Student Expo
Our 4th cohort of IGERT trainees received second place for an oral presentation at the Graduate Student Expo. The students presented as a team on a "man down" sensor that they developed as a team. They developed the man down sensor over the sequence of labs required in their first semester course in Sensor Foundations. They researched similar commercial sensors, improved on the design, and developed a working protoptype that they are investigating for commercialization.
