Achievement

A new graduate-level Materials Science course has been developed under the auspices of the IGERT and the Interdisciplinary Materials Science program. The course entitled: "Solar Energy Conversion", MSE 392 is focused on the basic materials science underlying solar energy and the conversion of solar energy to electricity. Materials covered included silicon photovoltaics, nano-materials for solar conversion and organic and dye-sensitized approaches to solar conversion.
