Achievement

Mr. Shrake worked with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to conduct a comparative analysis of diesel and biodiesel (B5) with respect to cost and performance. A major finding from his work was that B5 performed as well or better than ultra-low sulfur diesel in all categories evaluated. His work resulted in one peer-reviewed journal article on biodiesel metrics in Energy Policy.
