Trainee wins ASPET travel award
IGERT trainee, Brendan Harmon, has received the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) Graduate Student Travel Award. Brendan's doctoral thesis research focuses on "Intranasal Delivery of pGDNF-Expressing Nanoparticles for Parkinson's Disease". In addition to his IGERT funding, Brendan's research is also supported by the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. The latter award was also made possible by research done by trainees in the IGERT Nanomedicine Science and Technology program.
