Texas Wind Energy Institute established
The Texas Wind Energy Institute has been established on campus leading to the introduction of new wind energy courses including developing curricula for various industry needs. The curriculum includes an undergraduate minor in Wind Energy, two graduate level Wind Energy certificates and a Ph.D. in Wind Science and Engineering with a research emphasis in wind energy.
