Trainee Achievements
Computational legal studies blog created
Dan Katz, Mike Bommarito and Jon Zelner continued to collaborate on complex systems research, particularly in the area of computational legal studies. Their blog, computationallegalstudies.com, is cited by the popular media and numerous other blogs. They published three papers in 2011 and have two forthcoming this year including in the Journal of Legal Education. We are pleased our IGERT project facilitated their collaboration. Although they are starting to move on to the next phase of their career (Dan will graduate soon and start a job at MSU, Mike continues with his studies, Jon is working as a post-doc at Princeton), the collaborative research they began as IGERT trainees will continue into the future.
