Kate Anderson, who finished her PhD as part of our IGERT during the term has completed five papers on networks, specialization, and diversity. These papers are all under submission or revision for journals. (1) ``Specialization and the Formation of Collaboration Networks” (2) “Collaboration Networks and the Demand for Knowledge Workers with Heterogenous Skills” (3)“Foxes and Hedgehogs: Equilibrium Skill Acquisition Decisions in Problem-solving Populations” (4)“Sequential Team Assembly with a Network Constraint” (5) “Academic Matching and Specialization” On the basis of this work, Kate received a job at Carnegie Mellon University where she has received a junior faculty chair.
