Seminars in applied math and biology topics
During the 08-09 academic year, two sections of the COB research seminar were taught. The first was on methods of applied mathematics applied to biology, taught by Larry Sirovich (Mt. Sinai), and the second was a course on modeling neuronal and biological networks, taught by Frank Hoppensteadt (math). Rich Bonneau (CS, Biology) also taught a graduate course on special topics in computational biology which was attended by several COB students.
