Achievement

The IGERT group, particularly computer scientists and ecologists, has made progress in developing scientific visualization tools that can be used to display information from ecological inventories of species abundances, and to help ecologists formulate hypotheses for statistical tests. This work utilizes a user-centered design process, and applies techniques that have not previously been used for ecological data.
