Achievement

IGERT trainee Jesse Colangelo-Lillis (a microbiologist) was a Teaching Assistant with Prof. David Catling (co-PI, an atmosphere scientist) for an introductory undergraduate course on Astrobiology. Colangelo-Lillis was responsible for mentoring students twice weekly on all the topics covered, including many well outside his own discipline. Colangelo-Lillis reports that it was a tremendous amount of work, but very satisfying to see his own teaching skills develop.
