Dune restrorations and visitor satisfaction
LEAP cohort 5 has partnered with the Chicago Park District to study how dune restorations and other natural areas along the Chicago beachfront affect the satisfaction of recreational visitors to Chicago's beaches. The LEAP IGERT program has enhanced the educational experience of these students by providing the opportunity for them to work with municipal agencies and other stakeholders in designing and implementing an interdisciplinary research project.
