Two trainees receive PhD degrees
Two of our students, Robin Van Meter and Melanie Harrison, successfully defended their dissertations and graduated with PhD degrees during this reporting period. Dr. Van Meter's dissertation is entitled "Road Salt Runoff: The Relative Contribution of Direct and Indirect Effects on Pond Food Webs. Dr. Harrison's dissertation is entitled "Biogeochemical Hotspots of Nitrogen Removal in Urban Streams and Riparian Wetlands." Both trainees had recent journal articles published based on their research.
