NSF Summer Institute on Nano Mechanics and Materials
Continuous involvement in the NSF Summer Institute on Nanomechanics, Nanomaterials, and Micro/Nanomanufacturing. The goals of the NSF Summer Institute on Nano Mechanics and Materials focus on related issues as our IGERT program: aiming to identify and promote important areas of nanotechnology, to create new areas of research which will augment current nanotechnology research and development by universities, industries and government; to train future and practicing engineers, scientists and educators in the emerging areas of nanotechnology, nano-engineering, nano-mechanics, and nano-materials; and to exchange new ideas. Our faculty and students are involved in preparation and running short courses for the institute. http://www.tam.northwestern.edu/summerinstitute/Home.htm
