IGERT encourages high quality student research
The IGERT program has encouraged high quality student researches. Over the years, Aaron Greco received the 2009 STLE Chicago Graduate Fellowship Award. Aaron Greco, together with Tiffany Davis of the Manufacturing Group, won the First Price of the 2007 University Applied Research Day Poster Competition. Aaron Greco led a team winning a First Place Student Poster Award at the 2007 STLE Annual Meeting. The title of the poster presentation is "Developing Textured Surfaces for Lubricated Conformal Contact." Aaron Greco led a team winning the 3nd Place Student Poster Award at the 2007 Joint International Tribology Conference. The title of the poster presentation is "Influence of Surface Texturing on Rolling Contact Fatigue Life."
