Discussion panel on career paths
On February 15, 2011 the IGERT project co-hosted a discussion panel with University of Oregon Women in Graduate Sciences entitled "Science Career Paths: Finding the Path That's Right for You." The panelists, Dr. Linda Hansen, University of Oregon Technology Transfer; Dr. Rachel Smith, Life Technologies Scientist; and Dr. Sarah Cheesman, Natural Sciences Development Office, offered valuable information and advice on how to turn interdisciplinary interests into a career.
