Parkinson's rehabilitation system
During the current year, bioengineering PhD Trainee Catherine Vuong has been making significant progress in applying mixed reality rehabilitation techniques to Parkinson’s patients. She completed a feasibility study of the innovative, full body movement, Parkinson’s rehabilitation system she has developed. The results have been submitted to IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Conference, and to the ACM Multimedia Conference. She has co-authored a paper on the system design accepted at the Human Computer Interaction International Conference.
