Model on fish density presented and published
Jessica Langebrake developed a model examining fish density effects of MPAs in relation to adult mobility (see Research Achievements) working with her IGERT biology mentor, Craig Osenberg. She has presented her paper in a variety of meetings, including the University of Florida Marine Biology Symposium in St. Augustine, Florida and the University of Florida Biomathematics Conference in Gainesville, Florida. She has also published this work in the Journal of Mathematical Biology. She also will present extensions of this work at the Ecological Society of American meeting this summer.
