Achievement

Sally Ellingson was invited as a participant in the Computing Research Association's Committee on the Statues of Women in Computing Research. The goal of the organization is to increase the representation of women in computer science and this particular conference was about connecting female students and faculty for networking and mentorship. Sally found the conference to be both informative and empowering and we are very proud of how well she represented our program. SCALE-IT has been particularly successful in recruiting women in to the computer science field. We hope one of our two female computer science majors will follow in Sally's footsteps next year.
