Design of omnidirection electromagnet
IGERT student Andrew Petruska has been working on the design of a novel omnidirection electromagnet with no moving parts. Such a device could be useful for the control of a variety of magnetic microsurgical devices. The preliminary findings are in preparation for Applied Physics Letters.
