Achievement

A partnership with the Center for Innovative Ventures of Emerging Technologies (CIVET) was established in 2009-2010 to replace the partnership initially established with the Rutgers Business School. Through CIVET, all IGERT fellows enroll in the Innovations and Entrepreneurship course which assists them in learning about the publication process, grant-writing, business writing, patenting, and how to make their research translational so as to easily create industrial collaborations.
