Trainees mentor undergrad REU students
We continue our partnership with our NSF REU Site (2008-2010). In the third summer, our IGERT fellows actively engaged in mentoring a diverse group of undergraduate REU students. At the end of the summer project period, the students gathered with their mentors and advisors and each made a presentation of their REU research work to the group. The presentations include topics as diverse as Social Identity and Mechanism Design, Ethics, Norms and Behavior, Modeling the Emergence of Archaic Urban Centers Using Incentive-Based Methods, Trading Agent Competition, and Crowdsourcing and All-Pay Auctions.
