Achievement

We ask all of our trainees to present at least one departmental or university-wide research seminar each year. Additionally, we encourage trainees to attend a range of genomics seminars sponsored by departments and programs on their own. We promote these events via email and we also post upcoming events and seminars on our IGERT website. Students are therefore frequently exposed to research in other disciplines and have access to many resources through this community of scientists.
