Achievement

During last year's "Problems in Genomics" course, the trainees worked on three separate research projects: (1) analyzing the genome of the ale-producing yeast, (2) analyzing soil microbial diversity, and (3) identifying the core and flexible genome of bacteria in the genus Clostridium. The trainees are now completing these three projects and plan to submit manuscripts in the next few months for publication. These manuscripts are multi-authored papers, with one paper for each of these three projects.
