Achievement

Student participants engaged in analysis of an adaptive management approach concening the development of wind power in Nebraska. Students each utilized their particular expertise to contribute novel approaches to the problem. Energy problems are complex and multi-faceted, and wind energy comes with many tradeoffs. Students concluded however, that balancing these trade-offs (e.g., between proximity to transmission versus impacts on migratory cranes) is possible.
