Trainees present at SICB
Three IGERT trainees presented posters or talks at the annual Society for Integrative Biology (SICB) annual meetings in January 2011. Heather King's talk was entitled "Benthic Walking in the African Lungfish (Protopterus annectens)." Charlene McCord presented a poster entitled, "Diversification of triggerfish (Teleostei: Balistidae) cranial shape and jaw biomechanics." Richard Williams' poster presentation was entitled "Pectoral Fin Innervation and Sensation of Movement." All trainees traveled to SICB using IGERT funds, and significant parts of their research were enriched by the interdisciplinary training provided by the IGERT training program.
