Achievement

Our first IGERT associate, a first year graduate student, was the only student in recent times to place out of 2 out of the 3 first year courses. She scored very high on the placement and proficiency examinations at the beginning of the first semester. this allowed the student to 1) start her research immediately and 2) to complete her required course work within her first year.
