Achievement

Our IGERT faculty and trainees organized and participated in a symposium titled, Ecosystems 2010: Global Progress on Ecosystem-based Fisheries Management, which drew participation from around the world to discuss recent findings in ecosystem-based fisheries management. The symposium attracted broad international interest and was attended by participants from 19 countries. Gordon Kruse, an IGERT faculty, chaired the symposium. Papers presented at the symposium will be published in a peer- reviewed, edited book expected to be completed in late 2011.
