Achievement

IGERT-COSI students participated in oral and poster presentations to industrial leaders. Trainees took part in the annual meeting poster session of the Colorado Photonics Industry Association (CPIA), organized by CPIA and COSI deputy director at the University of Colorado campus. Trainees also participated in the Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) meeting organized on campus. They gave oral presentations, presented posters, and participated in discussions about the program and its industrial implications. The IAB included companies such as Ball Aerospace, Sandia National Labs, Covidien, Mitre, and Ricoh, among others. The IAB featured a talk by former IGERT trainees Dr. Eric Moore and Dr. Dan Feldkhun who started a successful start-up company in the field of computational optical imaging.
