Achievement

The interdisciplinary IGERT student team composed of Kate Cleary, Andre Sanfiorenzo, Irene Shaver and Ricardo Santiago, received third place in the Interdisciplinary Research Award category of the University of Idaho Innovation Showcase on April 28, 2011. The award recognizes outstanding research conducted by graduate students as part of a degree program at the University of Idaho which integrates concepts or ideas across distinctly different disciplines. Their presentation was entitled Land use change, human communities, and ecological processes: a conservation challenge in the San Juan La Selva Biological Corridor.
