Achievement

The IGERT Multidisciplinary PhD program in Wind Science and Engineering was reviewed by the Graduate School of Texas Tech University. The panel of reviewers included an external reviewer from the University of Washington. The recent report from the external reviewer included that the program’s students are diverse in terms of their academic backgrounds and interests, passionate about their research, and that retention in the program has been high due to the students working well together in a team-based environment. The review stated that our faculty was ranked as excellent and their productivity was exceedingly high. Also, the graduates of the program are most appropriately prepared for leadership and technical roles in private practice or industry.
